Drishtipat is a non-profit, non-partisan expatriate Bangladeshi organization committed to safeguarding every individual's basic democratic rights, including freedom of expression, and is opposed to any and all kinds of human rights abuses in Bangladesh.
From its inception Drishtipat New York has so far successfully completed five campaigns and many petitions and appeals. Women of 1971 Campaign, Arsenic Project Campaign, the Tipu Sultan Campaign, Ushnota and the Cheye Dekho Campaign. Drishtipat's success came from all the compassionate people who came forward to support these humanitarian campaigns. Drishtipat hopes to have continued support from all these people and more new ones in the future campaigns.
