to Drishtipat DC!
Drishtipat is a non-partisan
network that addresses human rights and social justice
issues affecting Bangladeshis and Bangladeshi-American
communities. Drishtipat is registered as a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization. The DC chapter of Drishtipat
(DPDC) serves the Washington metropolitan area and focuses
on the four key areas of immigrant rights, domestic
violence, policy issues, and preservation of culture.
DPDC brings together activists, artists, and experts
to provide the community with lively local events. Past
DPDC events have included film screenings, book readings,
and benefit concerts.
