About the projects
The Computer
Literacy program aims to promote knowledge
and usage of
computers amongst rural school-goers.It hopes to bridge the gap between
urban graduates and those who graduate from villages so that they can
compete in better job markets and establish themselves in the
ever-growing world of technology.
The
Sneha foundation
works with orphans, disadvantaged and specially
abandoned children. It aims to give these children a home, educate them
in subjects ranging from athletics to arts, have after-school support
programs and help them grow into self-sustaining adults.
A very
special thank you to Bangladeshi
student associations from across the GTA, who have
come together in
solidarity to become the backbone of this fundraising project.
You rock U of T St. George, U of
T Scarborough, Ryerson U, Waterloo U
and MacMaster. We couldn't have done this without
your support!"
