On October 26 2008, Drishtipat Canada is hosting 'Arnob & Friends' - a World Tour Concert in Toronto at the Ontario Science Centre's Imperial Oil Theatre. Arnob is a member of the bands Bangla and Prayer Hall and has released two solo albums -Chaina Bhabish and Hok Kolorob. This famous international musician has a record history of being celebrated as the most popular unique indie or fusion music artist amongst Bangladeshi youth today, both locally and abroad. An expected number of over 750 people will be in attendance to the concert and post VIP Concert Dinner in Toronto, with fans travelling from all across Ontario to experience this debut event. Come join us!! All concert proceeds will fund charitable causes, supporting the DP mandate. We, at the Canadian chapter, will be forwarding our contributions to the Computer Literacy Program in Dhaka and the orphanage 'Sneha Foundation' in Gazipur. Both these programs encourage the sustainable development for the underprivileged children in Bangladesh. We are reaching out to you - our community, in the hopes of receiving support in our work, as young expatriates, towards making this event a success. We are asking individuals and businesses from any and all walks of life to come forward and contribute any gift to this project: through monetary donations, by purchasing advertising space or by donating items that may be raffled off at our event.
