I was in Manila recently attending a conference. I spent a week in the city, though part of it was spent cooped up in the hotel room. One can never know much about a country from the little one sees in a few day, so none of what I say should be viewed as an expert analysis of the Philippines economy or society. But what I write is based on what I saw - after all, where else but in a blog post can I ramble on? Take all of it with a pinch of salt, sure. But I do hope this provokes some thoughts.

Many a times we don’t see many large scale revolutions in different societies and parts of the world. By revolution, we are pre-possessed by the thought of abrupt political and social change with blood-shed and political upheaval. In many parts of the world there happening many social and economic radical changes that we often times overlook.
Economic development of Malaysia an China is worth considering revolution. And the social change in the European countries through re-unification of European Union is undoubtely a world revolution towards economic development and world peace.
Other small scale revolution in Bangladesh is the introduction of massive mobile phone and revenue earning through remittance from man-power supply abroad. One of the leading means of sustenance of 150 million people in small spot-like country in world map is remittance from abroad. It’s also economic revolution in Bangladesh.
The best way, apart from many different projects or economic innovations, is the re-unification of smaller countries through confedrations or regional unions and opening up the borders of every country and freeing people for investment and for wide free access to job search. That will also help cutting the defense budgets and putting a huge military man power in productive economic sectors. And that kind of remaking the world would also pave for the world peace, guarranty political stabilty and econmic prosperity minimising economic disparity between nations.
And for that we need to free us from constricted vision of national identity. Every human is far greater than he or she is as they think themsevles as national entity, instead of being the greatest creation, rather viceroy of
God on the planet. As humans are representative of of God on earth, their thinking should like that great. By naitonal boundary we curtail our freedom and turn the own free country as the big jail and imposing self restriction of our freedom or mobility. Humans should not be confined to jails of so called independent state. People should be as free as or more free than animals or birds for whom there is naitonal boundary or national passport, to me, nothing but a jail ID. If the national boundaries are effaced from the earth every individuals potential will be augmented to the unimaginable dimension.
People might be thinking it crazy idea and world-chaos. But we can without being skeptical try for and challenge the unforeseen chaos and overcome human love, bondage and compassion to each other looking the world as one human nation.
Thanks.
