K M Hassan Regretted
It’s official now. Hassan’s lawyer came out to meet with reporters outside his residence and handed out the circular where he said ‘desh o jatir sharthe’ he would not become the chief of CG. [Channel I reported]
ONE of the THIRTY-ONE demands met (in a way).
NOW WHAT??

Meanwhile the reporters are doing their job….just reporting….not helping the victims…
Both AL and Jamat wanted to take position in muktangon today in Dhaka. AL got there first, and decided they owned the place, but Jamat wanted to be a part of the history just as much. AL supporters (some of them being thugs) couldn’t allow that to happen, so they drove Jamat away and in the process got hold of one Jamati weak link and decided to beat him to death on the spot. (!!??)
This one was not just another death, this one was witnessed by journalists.
There were more than half a dozen reporters with cameras to shoot the beating. It showed that in the video footage.
My problem is wouldn’t it have been a more humane thing to try to stop those attackers and not worry about how many “good shots” they got.
Another odd footage was shown last night. This one showed a bus (not sure public or private) engulfed with fire, and then there were picketers with bat like goods in their hands, and then – almost on cue (from the reporters….?) they started hitting on the burning bus - that looked like bad dance moves. The bus was going to turn into ashes, so what was the point of hitting a burning bus.
Makes one believe in the theories that they were acting up - ON CAMERA.
