I haven’t yet seen all the contestants. Yet I already have an early pick. Her stunning voice, illuminating presence on the stage has mesmerized me. I am definite she will be in top ten and very hopeful that she would be in top three.
Listen to Nishita Barua.

She sang my favorite song too - Habib’s “Bhalo bashbo re bashbo” …what melody and lyrics…gives me goose bumps…
Good luck to Nishita and others.

I agree with Zafa, her voice is like dew on green foliage by a cool pukur on a morning in a rural part of bangladesh… as bizarre as that may sound, only way i can describe her voice, truly goose bump surfacing .. she will do well

Now at the end of round 3, I believe we are getting a sense of possible closeup 1 of 2006.
Salma may be the Nolok babu of 2006.
See her here.

I don’t think Salma can sing all types of songs. I agree with the judges that she is the weakest competitor among the 4 survivors. I wish people won’t sms based on who is poor and who is unpriviledged - the real talent should be acclaimed.
